UK based Work
In the UK I have worked extensively with young people in varying contexts. I have also spent several years working around the issue of homelessness in Brighton and London.

Homelessness
I have several years experience working at the intersection of homelessness and arts.
As Programme Delivery Manager for Cardboard Citizens between 2014 - 2016 I managed multiple programmes for adults and young people, engaging them in arts projects and workshops. This gave me in depth experience managing the complex needs of those facing homelessness and how to support those needs.
I spent one year working with residents of a high needs hostel in Brighton, culminating in a Christmas performance.
Schools and Young People
I managed and delivered a Forum Theatre project 'ACT Change!' in secondary schools in Tower Hamlets, engaging students at risk of exclusion in workshops addressing issues of identity, conflict and relationship to each other. Over the course of one year we worked with seven schools and hundreds of students.
I also managed Meta, a schools tour project with Cardboard Citizens, liasing with teachers, running Research and Development workshops and supporting actors in the school environment.
Teaching
I have delivered workshops and seminars at a number of institutions in the UK on a range of subjects such as: Theatre for Development, Theatre as Reflective Practice, Prison Theatre. These include: Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Goldsmiths College, University of Warwick, Institute of Development Studies and London School of Economics.
